Natural Appearance

Porcelain closely mimics the light-reflecting properties of natural tooth enamel, making veneers virtually indistinguishable from your real teeth.

Stain-resistant surface

Unlike natural teeth, porcelain resists staining from coffee, red wine, and tobacco — helping your smile stay noticeably whiter for longer.

Long-lasting durability

With proper care and maintenance, porcelain veneers can last between 10 and 20 years, making them a worthwhile, long-term investment in your smile.

Before & After

Simple Steps To Your
Dream Smile.

It all starts here. We'll take X-rays, photographs, and a full record of your current teeth. From there, we work with an elite aesthetic dental laboratory to build a physical mock-up of your future smile, so you can see and feel the results before we even get started.

01.  Smile Consultation

02.  Preparation & Impressions

At this visit, your teeth are gently prepared to receive the veneers. We'll also create a temporary set that closely matches the shape, size, and look of your finals. Consider it a two-week test drive of your new smile. Live with them. Eat with them. Smile with them. If anything needs adjusting, we'll dial it in before moving forward.

03.  Fitting & Bonding

About two weeks later, Dr. Fawzy will sit down with you to review every last detail. Once you're both happy with how everything looks, he'll take a precise impression and send it to the lab where your final veneers are handcrafted to perfection.

04.  Final Adjustments

The big day. Dr. Fawzy will carefully fit your new veneers before permanently bonding them in place. Every angle is checked, every detail is confirmed — and you won't leave the chair until your smile is exactly what you pictured.

05.  Occlusal Guard (Optional)

We'll take a quick impression to create a custom nightguard that protects your new smile while you sleep. It's a small step that makes a big difference, especially if you tend to grind or clench at night.

My name is Dr. Mourad Fawzy and I’m grateful for the opportunity to introduce myself as the new owner of Lakeway Dental Associates. I know that anytime a long-standing practice changes hands, it can bring some uncertainty — but my goal is to make this transition feel as smooth and comfortable as possible.

When I first met Dr. Dupper and spent time in the practice, what stood out immediately was his sincerity and integrity. His main priority in this transition was finding someone who would care for his patients like family. It was clear that this practice has been built on trust, consistency, and treating people the right way. With big shoes to fill, I am grateful and confident to continue serving this community.

I’m a general dentist with 15 years of experience. I started out in Egypt taking over my mother’s dental office and later decided to move to the USA to pursue my career further. I continued my education at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.

Frequently Asked Questions about Porcelain Veneers

Can you return to your natural teeth after getting veneers?

What do you need to know about veneers?

How long do veneers last?

Veneers require a small amount of enamel removal, which is a permanent change. However, if a veneer chips or wears out after many years, it can be replaced with a new one. It's important to go in with the understanding that this is a long-term commitment.

Veneers need to minimally prepare the front surface of the front teeth. It is crucial to wear your nightguard while sleeping to avoid any fractures or cracks with the veneers.

With proper care — regular brushing, flossing, and dental checkups — porcelain veneers can last anywhere from 10 to 20 years. Avoiding habits like biting fingernails, chewing ice, or using your teeth as tools will significantly extend their lifespan.

Does getting veneers hurt?

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, so you won't feel pain during the preparation. Some patients experience mild sensitivity for a few days after placement, but this typically resolves quickly and can be managed with over-the-counter pain relievers.

Does insurance cover porcelain veneers?

Veneers are generally considered a cosmetic procedure and are not covered by most dental insurance plans. However, we offer flexible financing options to make your treatment accessible. Our team is happy to walk you through payment plans during your consultation.
